Webinar: Mental Health as the New “Fall Risk”

It has become increasingly important to have a proactive strategy in place to help manage the legal risks associated with the rising rate of resident mental illness. The shift from the Silent Generation to the baby boomer generation will further increase the need for mental health resources.

In this session, we will address critical topics associated with mental illness, including transition of care, depression, isolation, sexual activity, substance abuse and resident “bullying” behaviors. These dangerous situations can increase the overall cost to Senior Living care communities. We will discuss concrete recommendations on how communities can better identify at-risk residents as well as policy recommendations and employee training options to develop a proactive risk management program.
